ArmA: Armed Assault

Armed Assault is a modern-day, military-themed game that's set on a fictional island that's split in two. The northern part of the island is a totalitarian dictatorship that is equipped with Soviet bloc weapons and equipment, while the southern part of the island is a democratic nation that's allied to the United States. (Shades of the Korea peninsula, anyone?) The US military has deployed trainers and advisers to help train the south's military, but when war erupts, it'll be up to you to help turn the tide and win the war.

First-person action game in which you play as Angela Prophet, who's been tagged to save the world from an Armageddon brought about by what appears to be a relative of Aleister Crowley. Everything's already starting to go to hell by the time you get involved, and PsychoToxic tries to capture the unsettling end-of-the-world feel of movies like 28 Days Later and the Dawn of the Dead remake--not that the theme in this game is zombies, though. There are monsters and some spooky people running around, but zombies don't make up the majority of it. Angie Prophet has special powers allowing her to pick up power ups to do things like temporarily turn invisible, recharge her health, throw up an invulnerability shield, and more.

Terrorist Takedown Covert Ops
The story takes place in Columbia during the escalation of a local conflict. The player assumes the role of an American soldier serving in special forces -- lieutenant Jake Morche. You are given an extremely difficult mission to handle -- eliminate a drug cartel baron. Along with your team, you enter the enemies' territory to bring back peace in the region. Your mission, which appeared to be easy from a tactical point of view, slowly turns into a regular war against the drug cartel army. The task appointed to you proves to be much harder than it was assumed. The Colombian drug cartel army is more blood-thirsty than ever before. Your opponents are perfectly trained and possess great striking power. You need to resort to cunning and intelligence in order to successfull face their power.
